Applications are invited for University of Leicester ISC Foundation Year Scholarship Scheme. International (Non-UK) students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The International Foundation Year is designed to fully prepare you for degree study at the University. It will improve your English, academic and study skills and give you the confidence to succeed in your degree.

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:
The scholarship is available to students who achieve 5% higher than the standard progression
requirement (depending on degree) in the ISC foundation programme. For example, if you progress to a
- Value of scholarship: £2,500
- Criteria: Academic merit
- Application deadline – there will be two deadlines during the year:
- 30 March 2018 if you receive your offer to study with us before 10 March 2018
- 31 July 2018 if you receive your offer to study with us after 10 March 2018
This scholarship is for new international (non-EU) students on a full-time, taught, campus-based Masters course starting in September 2018 or January 2019.
The scholarship will not apply if an industrial placement or exchange year is undertaken, or if you suspend your studies for any reason.
In accordance with scholarship guidelines, students are allowed to hold only one University of Leicester scholarship, awarded either centrally or by a department. If you are awarded more than one scholarship, you will therefore receive only the higher value award.
If you currently have a conditional offer of a place at the University, you are still required to fulfil any conditions stated on your offer letter.
The scholarship is awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees.
If you apply for the Head of College Scholarship you will also be considered for the President’s Postgraduate Scholarship. There is no need to make a separate application.
